Tuesday Tips: Play to Out

This tip is really useful when marking up dialogue clips in the Viewer and is closely related to the Play In to Out command.

If you’ve got a long chunk of footage marked up, sometimes it is useful to only preview up to the out point. Thankfully it’s easy - put the playhead anywhere between the in and out points then press Shift-P and FCP will start playback from the current frame and stop on the out point.
